Painting asks me to look longer.
I collect fragments-a sleeve caught in afternoon light, the weight of a gesture, the quiet rhythm of a room- and return to them through drawing and paint. What first appears ordinary gradually reveals its depth through sustained attention.
My practice is rooted in observation, intuition, and an ongoing conversation with color, material and a memory. Rather than explaining a moment, I linger with it, allowing atmosphere and form to carry meaning beyond words
